LaxView Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 16, 2025
Last Updated: September 6, 2026
Accelerated AI and Data Solutions LLC, doing business as LaxView (“LaxView,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with the LaxView website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are designed for coaches, coaching staff, league and program administrators, authorized adult users, and—where permitted—player account holders age 14 or older. Users ages 14–17 require verified guardian approval. Users under 14 do not create accounts. This Policy applies generally to personal information we process, regardless of the state in which you reside, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account and Contact Information. Name, email address, organization or team affiliation, account credentials, and other information you provide when creating or maintaining an account or communicating with us. For teen users ages 14–17, we also process parent or legal guardian contact information, approval status, and related approval or verification records.
- Transaction Information. Billing or transaction-related information associated with use of the Services, if applicable. Payment-card information, if any, may be processed through payment systems used in connection with the Services and is not intended to be stored by LaxView unless expressly stated.
- Usage and Device Information. IP address, browser type, device information, pages or features accessed, dates and times of access, and interaction or diagnostic information generated through use of the Services.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies. Standard cookies and similar technologies used to provide platform functionality, maintain sessions, remember preferences, support security, and understand use of the Services. LaxView does not use cookies for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Customer and Analytics Data. Coaches, administrators, schools, leagues, or other customers may provide team, game, roster, film, and analytics data for processing through the Services. This may include identifiable athlete information such as names, jersey numbers, positions, headshots, performance statistics, and game film. The Services are not intended for children under 13, and organizations must not submit data concerning any athlete under 13.
We may also receive information directly from your employer, school, league, team, or other organization when it creates or administers access to the Services for you.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
- Create and administer accounts and authenticate authorized users.
- Process customer-provided statistical and analytics data and provide requested analytics, reports, and platform functionality.
- Communicate about accounts, transactions, support requests, product updates, and, where permitted by law, LaxView services.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity.
- Comply with applicable law, legal process, and enforceable governmental requests, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Generate internal operational information about the performance, reliability, and use of the Services, provided such information does not identify an individual or disclose Customer Data.
Customer may opt in to allow LaxView to use Customer Data to develop predictive analytics, performance insights, and related modeling capabilities when a customer's authorized representative provides explicit consent. LaxView does not use one customer's Customer Data to generate analytics, benchmarking, or insights for another customer without separate authorization.
3. Customer Data and Schools
As between LaxView and its customers, customers retain their rights in data they submit to or make available through the Services (“Customer Data”), subject to the applicable customer agreement. LaxView does not acquire ownership of Customer Data merely by processing it. LaxView retains its rights in information, technology, analytics, content, or other materials independently developed by LaxView without use of Customer Data, as further addressed in the applicable terms or customer agreement.
LaxView may contract directly with schools or educational institutions, and customers may provide identifiable athlete information, including information about minors, when they have the authority to do so. If a school or other educational institution provides non-public personally identifiable information from student education records or other data subject to FERPA or a state student-privacy law, LaxView will process that information only where LaxView has expressly agreed in writing to receive it and any required contractual or legal protections are in place.
4. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:
- At Your or the Customer's Direction. To the organization that provides or administers your access to the Services, or as otherwise directed or authorized by you or the applicable customer.
- Legal and Safety Purposes. To courts, regulators, law enforcement, governmental authorities, or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property.
- Business Transactions. In connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where required.
- Service Providers. We use service providers such as Supabase, Stripe, Resend, hosting providers, and—on our marketing site only—analytics and lead-capture tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot. We limit disclosures to what is reasonably necessary, require appropriate confidentiality and security obligations, and do not authorize vendors to use Customer Data for their independent marketing purposes. See Subprocessors for the current list.
5. Cookies and Privacy Signals
LaxView uses standard cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, session management, preferences, and basic service analytics. We do not use these technologies to sell personal information or for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Because LaxView does not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, an opt-out of sale or targeted advertising is not ordinarily necessary. Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, LaxView will honor that signal to the extent it applies to our processing.
6. Data Retention
LaxView retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary and proportionate to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your account profile, authentication record, and platform memberships within 30 days, although residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days.
Deleting your account does not automatically remove organization-managed Customer Data, such as roster entries, statistics, or game film uploaded by your school, club, league, or coach. That information may remain under your organization's control. To request changes to organization-managed athlete data, contact your organization or email us at ethan@lax-view.com.
When information is no longer required, we will delete, de-identify, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable law, subject to lawful exceptions and backup or archival cycles.
7. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption where appropriate, and security measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and appropriate exceptions, we extend the following privacy rights to individuals whose personal information we process, whether or not a particular state privacy law independently requires us to do so:
- Access and Know. Request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and access the personal information we maintain about you, including information about the categories of information collected, the purposes for processing it, and the categories of recipients to whom it has been disclosed.
- Correction. Request correction of inaccurate personal information, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of processing.
- Deletion. Request deletion of personal information we control about your account, subject to legal and operational exceptions. Self-service account deletion removes your login, profile fields, and platform memberships but does not delete organization-managed Customer Data described in Section 6.
- Portability. Request a copy of account and consent records we maintain about you in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format. Self-service export includes account profile, tenant memberships, and consent history. For broader data held by your organization on the platform, contact your organization or us using Section 13.
- Opt Out. Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. LaxView does not currently engage in these activities.
- Appeal. Appeal our refusal to take action on a privacy request by replying to our decision or contacting us using the information in Section 13 and stating that you are submitting a privacy appeal.
- Authorized Agent. Where permitted by law, designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require evidence of the agent's authority and may verify your identity directly.
- Non-Discrimination. Exercise your privacy rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation.
To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the information in Section 13. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny an appeal and applicable law provides a right to contact a state regulator or attorney general, our appeal response will provide information about how to do so.
9. Teen Accounts, Children, and Minors' Information
Player accounts are available only to users age 14 or older. Users ages 14–17 (each, a “Teen User”) require verified parent or legal guardian approval before account activation. LaxView does not knowingly permit users under 14 to create accounts or receive direct account invitations. The subscription for a Teen User may be purchased by the Teen User's parent or legal guardian or by an organization, but an organization's purchase does not eliminate the guardian-approval requirement for the Teen User's account. For accounts provisioned by a purchasing organization, the organization represents that it has obtained that approval.
For Teen Users, we collect name, email, birth year, game type, and account credentials to operate player profiles, film, highlights, and related analytics features. We do not use Teen User personal information to train generalized or shared artificial intelligence or machine-learning models or to create cross-customer player benchmarks.
Athletes may appear in team, roster, film, statistical, and analytics data that a coach, school, club, league, or other organization provides or makes available through the Services. By submitting that information, the organization and the submitting user represent that they have the authority and any necessary consents to do so, and that the data does not concern any athlete under 13. Organizations must not submit personal information about children under 13, and LaxView does not accept or process it.
A parent or legal guardian asked to approve a Teen User account may approve or decline the request. By approving, the parent or guardian confirms that they are the Teen User's parent or legal guardian and authorizes the Teen User to use LaxView and LaxView to process the information described in this Policy as necessary to provide the account and Services. If an organization is paying for the account, the guardian's approval does not make the guardian responsible for that organization's payment obligations. A parent or guardian may review the account, request corrections, withdraw approval, or request deletion of the Teen User's personal information by contacting us using the information in Section 13. Withdrawal of required approval may result in suspension or closure of the Teen User's account.
If you are a California resident under the age of 18 and a registered user, you may request removal of content you posted through the Services by contacting us using the information in Section 13. We will remove or de-identify such content to the extent required by law.
If you believe we have collected personal information from a child in violation of this Policy, contact us using the information in Section 13 so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, delete the information.
10. De-Identified and Aggregated Information
We may process information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an identified or identifiable individual. Where required by applicable law, we will maintain such information in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by law, including to test whether our de-identification processes are effective.
11. United States Operations
LaxView currently offers and operates the Services in the United States and does not intentionally market or offer the Services outside the United States. If our operations expand internationally, we may update this Policy and our practices as appropriate before processing personal information subject to additional international privacy requirements.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the Services, by email, or by another reasonable method as required by applicable law. We will not apply material changes retroactively where prohibited by law.
